Russ; This is exactly why the club should get involved in developing a grading standard for chips ....

As I posted last week, I was surprised to see the obvious defects on the new $100 Hooters chips that were just released. To simply say that these chips were obtained on the first day of issue does not accurately describe the condition.... yet the inference is that they are "Mint", or "New", or "Uncirculated".

On the other hand... one person's description of "very good condition" who is not a chip collector..., may in fact meet someone else's description of "uncirculated".
