Do the ghosts know there was a casino SIGN there??? If not, they must have been blind! I've dug around and found a couple more pictures...the Apache Casino SIGN was located between the Apache Cafe and the Boulder Club.
The Western Casino SIGN was located in the same place (124 E. Fremont 1941-1942). Forester Jewelers SIGN was located in the same place (1946 postcard-Apache Bar/Lounge was next door).
In another 1946 postcard, it looked like the Eldorado was on the entire ground floor of the building, though there was still a "Bar Cocktail Lounge" sign over the section that had been 124 E. Fremont.
What's really interesting, is that in the picture of the SS Rex (128 E. Fremont), the SIGN at 124 E. Fremont was the Apache ____ (Bar, I think, but it was mostly obscured by the SS Rex sign).
You and Jim and Archie (and anyone else) can believe whatever you want about the Apache Casino, but you ain't never gonna convince me there wasn't an Apache Casino SIGN!!
