James, if the Harvey's was "stuck into another ashtray", how would you explain the BACK of the Smoky Mountains decal being applied to the glass? If the BACK of the decal is applied to glass then the FRONT of the decal would get cigarette burns on it, wouldn't it?

What looks like bubbles in the glass is not on the ashtray. This is an effect of the light of the scanner bouncing around during scanning.

The ashtray CAN NOT come apart. The workmanship is actually superb. I know there is a seam somewhere, but I can't see it or feel it. The only way I know it's there is the condensation I mentioned in my original post.

James, have you ever seen an ashtray like this?
