For what it is worth, here is the response I received.......
"I guess you have to do a lot of selling and a lot of buying to learn about some people. Thank heavens they are in the minority. Very small minority. I have had the buyer pay quickly and I have sent the merchandise promptly and they will not leave feedback or let me know they received the item. I decided that I will not leave feedback until I know the buyer is satisfied. I just went to your feedback and notice you are both a buyer and a seller. I find that only about 50% of the people leave feedback. Not because they are unhappy, but just because they don't follow through and I never hear if they received the merchandise or not. This is just the way I do business on Ebay and I have being doing it for about 3 1/2 years."
