Chuck; I hope that you won't be as confused when the final COTY winners are announced!

Seriously though Chuck, you have not been the only one who has made suggestions. As a matter of further explanation, there was a suggestion submitted that was proposed for the Diamond, Platinum, Gold rankings because the proposer thought that it would tie in more appropriately with casino collectibles (and not sports) in light of the fact that slot card rankings are in that order... Diamond, Platinum, Gold.

One of the problems in this contest has been that if one suggestion is accepted over another ... cries of "foul" are heard loud and clear from the side whose suggestion was not adopted. Jim Follis and I have tried to be fair and we have listened to everyone. Frankly, it was Andy Hughes' rational comment about the Gold winner might be interpreted to be the top winner by some who are not familiar with the awards structure, that caused our initial judgement call to be reversed.

Now that that issue has been settled, Jim and I would hope that everyone will submit their COTY/TOTY/SSOTY nominations as soon as the 1st quarter magazine is delivered. I understand that the mailing has been delayed a few days due to the printer not properly preparing some of the inserts that were to be placed in the magazine ... (which now have to be done over again)... and hopefully the magazine will be mailed out with the corrected inserts by the end of this week.
