I'm starting a chatroom version of The Chipboard tenatively to be called ChipChat because I was afraid Greg would be upset if I used TCB name without his permission. Token and general gambling chat is also welcome and is encouraged. Users will have the capability of chatting with other CC and GTCC members and non CC and GTCC members in realtime by either typing your message in the text box or by chatting in voice (via microphone) or by video (via webcam/netcam). I've found that Yahoo! is the best choice because it not only supports basic text chat but also supports and allows audio (via microphone) and video (i.e. netcam/webcam) chat which on AOL/Compuserve, MSN and Prodigy they only support one on one audio chat and currently do not support or offer use of a webcam when chatting or IMing.

The ChipChat chatroom should be up and running by Wednesday. To participate you will need to first sign-up for a free Yahoo! account then either download a stand-alone version or use the Java interface with no download required (Some functions in the Java interface may not work). I will post instructions on how to access the ChipChat chatroom in a couple of days. If you are interested in participating then e-mail me and when the ChipChat chatroom officially opens I will let you know via e-mail or if you include your Yahoo ID I will send you an IM message letting you know.
