I believe you've stated the problem well.

But the solution will never be reached by trying to find the "perfect limit"

I continue to believe that we as collectors have to rethink our chip buying criteria. As it stands now we collectively reward casinos for putting out many small issues and penalize casinos that put out large issues.

This largely because we collectively tend to purchase small issues out of speculation, but large issues don't promise to have large values later.

I believe we should be encourage large issues not small issues, then there would be enough chips for all and even chips on the table (after all isn't that what they are for).

Its time to stop blaming the casino, place the blame on ourselves, and rethink our priorities.
