Thanks for your interest in the chip. I have been contacted by a chip expert who believes this is not near mint. I am not a chip expert, and graded this chip based on my opinion. The expert feels there are brass flecks shining through. When I put a flashlight on it, I could see what he was talking about. You can also see a ding at 2:00 o'clock in the second picture, which is magnified with a ten power lense. The edges are good enough for the chip to stand on edge. Whether they are as sharp as the industry standard, I do not know. The inlay is superb with very strong print contrast. If because of this information, you would like to retract your bid, PLEASE feel free to do so.
