I just got back from the Gaming Times show in Vegas and I have been entering my purchases/trades/finds on my spreadsheets. I find it hard to believe but I now have slightly over 5000 chips.

I started actively collecting in the Fall of 1996. Around that time I attended my first chip show. It was a Coast To Coast show put on by Tom Pleau and Chris Collangelo in Ocean City NJ. I remember thinking that I went overboard because I purchased about 100 chips. Since then I have attended all the CC>CC conventions, several Superbowl shows, 3 Mississippi shows, a couple of other Coast To Coast shows and 1 Chicago show. I have also attended most AC chapter and NY Metro chapter meetings.

I wonder how much money I would have in the bank if I never picked up that first chip (Playboy AC $1) as a souvenier.
