These chips were made for Carl A. Kroch, former president of Kroch's & Brentano's -- at one time the largest privately owned bookstore chain in the United States (located on South Wabash Avenue, Chicago). These chips were delivered to Kroch's & Brentano's in 1959.

It's nice to have a history on these chips. Too many seal & crests (or crest & seals) are UFCs.
