Two weeks ago I drove through the East Checkpoint. When I told the Ranger that I had a buddy on that detail and did he know Bob Whiteman he said, "Sure do. Ya just missed him. He's on day shift. Now just pull up over there so we can have a look see." When I pulled over to the vehicle inspection I heard him yell to the inspection people, "Hey take care of this guy, said he's a friend of Pinhead's! Check 'um out real good!"

Just kidding Bob, but I did just miss you though. Although I didn't leave my name, I asked the guy to say hi. How much longer for this assignment? And do you now have a cable modem hookup in the hotel room?
