That reminds me of when Mandalay Bay first opened. They had a coin store in the mall area that was selling old European plaques. Apparently the laws over there require the old plaques to be destroyed and most are done by burning them. These plaques were some of the "better" burned ones. I have no idea what their real value was but I doubt that many were worth the $225 each that they were asking.
