Thanks for the negative input (it will prepare me), because I know I'm going to be hit with such when I present this in Florida. Warning signs are not meant to "scare off" people, they're there to alert those who are dependent on certain medication/diet schedules that delays are very possible, especially if such delays are as frequent as Bill reported. A person leaving their medication in their car could easilly return to their car and carry aboard whatever it is thay may need should there be a delay returning to shore.

I believe the point that Bill is making is that he knows of this happening twice within a few weeks. The operators of the boat should have alerted those who sailed after the second delay by posting "Heavy fog conditions within the last two weeks have delayed return to port; it may happen during this sailing."
