One side has a heavy cancelation, the other is lighter. It's been said that if you clean them, you can remove most of it. I don't need to. lol Thay are different colors than the table chips in use.
Someone sold them to me as a canceled, "backup rack" chip. (or I traded for them?) Either way they were cheap, but not 60c each. ;-) No problem, I'm happy to have one in the collection, and one in my traders.
Did I mention that the Chipco is a one sided, sample chip? The back has an ad for Chipco. Back in the early days, they would send out samples, upon request, if you sounded like a qualified lead. The story goes, that one day, someone passed a notched, sample at a casino, and that was the end of the nice looking gifts from Chipco.
Maybe they still make some, but they are probably handed out personally and with deep notches.
