MGM has no market in the Chicago (or IN WI) area. There is apparently a ton of Money to be siphoned out of us suckers in the Chicago area. Elgin's Grand Victoria swipes $1 million a day out of us. You can't do that at $5 a hand. (you don't have to play to collect chips, I do it all the time. Walk in buy the chips and leave) Grand Victoria is only 2 miles from my apartment and I managed to lose all my slot points because I didn't come back in and play for more than a Year.

You didn't mention where you live but you have a real good chance of finding $5 blackjack at Blue Chip in Indiana and Northern Wisconsin. (oneida, Rainbow and North) Harrah's and Horseshoe in Hammond and E. Chicago have $2.50 chips on the tables so apparently $5 black jack is available at some of the slow times.
