First, I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused our users.
We have had an enormous amount of traffic at our site recently, and have just implemented a new server structure which includes the latest virus protection for our site...and our customers.
On Friday evening, some 5,000 + files were uploaded into our free picture-hosting service. This was an abnormally high amount, so as a precaution we investigated some of these files and found many to be corrupted. We immediately sealed the picture-hosting service from the primary site, then began manually removing the corrupted files.
The next step was to implement the new software to protect our site, which has now been completed.
Again, my apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused...but the security of our users must be our first concern.
