... Mike. When I wrote the pledge which is the basis of the list, it was my intention to try to prevent slabbing from taking hold in our hobby AT ALL. It was not really about the club or the convention (which didn't become an issue until the board voted to allow slabbers at the convention).

As far as I'm concerned, nothing has changed:

I will NOT buy any slabbed chip.

I will NOT have any slabbed chip in my collection.

I will NOT buy ANY chip from any dealer who sells slabbed chips.

I will NOT buy ANY chip from any dealer who grades chips for a slabbing service.

I will NOT do business of any kind with any dealer who participates in any way in the slabbing of chips.

The lack of interest in slabbed chips thus far exhibited by collectors is good, but I don't think the war is anywhere near over.
