I wrote to the seller, after the auction & asked if he had another to sell. I have a customer wanting to buy one. He said yes, one left, other 3 were all sold to one guy & he earned this one. He would take $750 for it. I have since advised my client that I feel this is not a good move in buying this chip. I have not heard back from him. I would think he would respect my opinion. He is a new buyer & I feel this is a risky chip. I do not know anything more than what is in my book as for how many are around. I really felt 12 to 15 at that time but am not sure what to think right now until I see if more surface. I have noted the 3 ebay sales. This section was written before any were up on ebay. I do not know John or whoever the seller was. So what is your interest in this? Write the guy on ebay if you want one, I dont have any for sale. I only own one & am proud to own it. I bought this when they first came out. What is in my book is what I believe to be true. We researched this as much as possible back to the finder, Roy Arrington of Vitorian Casino antiques. He is an auctioneer, or was in Vegas. He found them mixed with other chips in an old dresser give to him to auction. There was a $5 & $10 hot stamp too. Some Sans Souci $100's & Westerner $5 & New Frontier $25 & maybe one or two more.
Now tell me what are you trying to prove here?
And yes I did bit quite low compared to what this brought. I am willing to take a chance on this one if the were right. Would you? It is about the nicest chip there is. I really like the rectangles mold too.
