I lived in Princeton for 5 years... right next to some of the farms where they grow this stuff. 3 years in Philly, too. I can assure everyone of 2 things:
If you've never had a Jersey tomato, it's worth the airfare. You'll be disappointed every time you visit your local supermarket produce department after eating one of these babies.
Jersey corn, too, is indescribable. Betcha can't eat just one!
I would suggest to anyone who wants a delightful culinary experience to jump on a plane to Philadelphia, find a farm stand in South Jersey and pick up a bag of tomatoes and another of corn.
On the way back to the airport, make a little side trip to Bala Cynwyd and stop at Momma's for the absolute best cheesesteak in the universe (this I guarantee!).
