Where is the police report (which is automatic for vandalism of valuables stores), how do you "attach" a slabbed chip to a rock, why in the world would someone reverse their position because an idiot threw a rock through a window, and why would someone make a pledge to support a group who has just perpetrated violence against him?

However, if someone wanted to reverse their position for financial reasons, and staged the crime to garner sympathy and forgiveness from alienated customers - such a story would be a perfect concoction.

I think the whole thing is a little hoaxy, not very serious. If there is independent verification of the incident, I'll join in the reward offer. As it stands, it looks awful fishy. I mean, what's the thinking: "Hey, these guys are throwing rocks thru windows. I'll join them." Come on.
