Some of you may remember the 1000 Afghanis banknote that went to school, passed to a sibling and ended up at another school where the Hazmat team was called in to pick it up and send to the anthrax lab in Houston. It was sure to make the television and newspaper (front page no less) afterward. Whew! Finally THAT’S over……. NOT!

I got this certified letter from the Beaumont Police Department today; guess what came home to roost? Yep, the 1000 Afghanis note is back home from the Crime lab in Houston, but only after a pile of signatures on the ‘chain of custody’ forms. Double bagged no less! SURELY, this is the end of the story. OH yea, BTW it's CLEAN. No Anthrax! -Guaranteed-
