 () I guess you're right. An employee could potentially buy all the chips. A cash outlay of ~$12,000 (with the 300 given to the hockey team). We were told the employees purchased about 25% of them during the couple of days.
The last day, other than a fellow chipper, it was really one-offs by the cocktail waitresses. But at that point, the staff who wanted them had their chance.
I don't really have an opinion on the employee purchase. I can understand your point though.
