Sharkey's is in Gardnerville, about an hour south of Reno and 30 minutes southeast of Lake Tahoe. It's a classic old-time casino with some of the best western memorabilia around - some gaming-related, some not. There is no way the new owners can duplicate the feel of this place. I for one am really going to miss it.
