We HAVE TO drive the strip at least once each trip to see what's opened, closed, remodeling, or on strike!!

However....this must be done between Monday and Thursday, should start no later than 9 a.m., and the excursion must be completed by 4 p.m. or we turn into raving lunatics!!

We stay downtown, though we've stayed at Stardust, Frontier, Flamingo, Riviera, La Concha & El Morocco (!!!!!), Imperial Palace, and Casino Royale. (maybe others too)

Last March we stumbled across Yesco's "neon graveyard" but didn't have a camera with us!! . In October we went back, camera in hand, and discovered there were less casino signs than on the previous trip. Still...we hiked down a dry creekbed next to the fence, and took a buncha pictures. We enjoy something like that a lot more than the shows!

Next month I think we're going to try to find the old Stewart Ranch....hope we remember to bring a camera!!
