(1)I have spoken to several people who joined your list simply because they wanted to continue to be treated favorably by the "ringleaders" whom they have bought from in the past. This in and of itself is forcing one to make a dicision that they do not 100% agree with.

(2) If the list and the club are 2 different things then why is the list the first thing on the slabfree site?

(3) Do not call someone a lier without proof. (a) My statement was buy the chip not the holder it is in: This means give no concern to the holder but only to the chip that you need for your collection. (b) When the value was derived for the chip at $1200.00 The 1st edition of the chip guide was all of the reference I had. I have since learned that a new edition has been released. I will be buying one. We have over 300 books in our reference library, some of which are not the most current. This would be very expensive to renew every year. I would have no reason to lie about getting the chips in a holder since everyone knows I am the one who took this idea to the grading companies in the first place.
(4) People keep harping on the fact that lessor value chips are in holders. Yes some lessor value chips are in holders due to the fact that I sent hundreds of different chips to icg so that they could see as many examples as possible. In the future only high end chips will be slabbed by our company. We will continue to slab chips for the following reasons: (a) If I am not mistaken at least one "chipper" started making his own chips and selling them for the real thing. People who collect coins really tend to get upset when they find out that the rare coin they bought at a coin show 20 years ago is a fake. (b) For any collectable base to grow you must attract investors. Now if you do not think this is true ask the people who signed the list if a single one of them has ever stood in line to get more than one LE. all of the extras was an investment. Hoping the value or demand would go high enough to pay him a profit. Or at least pay for his one he needed for his collection. When you have investors or investor/collectors some of them will need assurances. they are not all experts like yourself. When people buy antiques the want an experts opinion before they bid half a million for that louis the 14th chair. When the day comes that a chip is worth $50,000 do you think everyone is going to take one guys word at a chip show that his chip is not only worth that much but is in fact authentic? The panel of graders are not what they should be at this time. We could use the help of experts like yourself, and this day will come. There are members of your organization currently having meetings with other grading companies to make this happen.

By not doing business with anyone who slabs chips is simply silly. The money I make from everyone on the list for all time is the amount I spent at starbucks last month. I have over 30,000 chips and I am sure that many people, list or not, would like to own some of them at a fair price. Their loss not mine. I slabbed 400 or so chips, a very small percentage of our holdings. Of those 400 or so I have sold about a hundred or so to many different types of customers. A few even asked me to remove them from the holder so they could show them off to their friends who were on the list. Fine with me, I sold a chip. I do not say that I will not do business with anyone who belongs to the democratic party (just because i happen to be republican) I will discuss my views and listen to theirs.

This is the end of my ramblings on this board. Simply because every time I post a response all of the people who agree with me only respond to my private e-mail (I wonder Why?). I will not be reading any responses to this post but will hope that all of you will print this out and put it away for 10 years and then take it out , look at it and remind yourself how silly you were being back in the old days.
