Before posting here why didn't you ask him what he had invested in the chips to begin with? I have NO idea what he has invested, BUT maybe it's enough that he has to charge that price. I don't think he got these chips by just walking up to the cage. I'm sure he had to pay a premium to get them. Either way, the bottom line is that if someone wants the chip they will pay the price. If not, they will move on to another chip they want & like at a price they are happy with. I do not for a minute think it is going to ruin the hobby.
