Mickey Mantle Card Seller Responds

Hi Bob,
What I was told when I bought it was that Mickey Mantle used to work at the
Taj Mahal as a celebrity greeter and for autograph appearances in the
hotel.Often along with Willie Mays. I was told that this was his actual
casino credit card.I assume the card was just swiped through the machine to
keep track of things and that the only reason I can think of that the card
is not signed is that he was MICKEY MANTLE and nobody would need to verify a
signature from him. He was a very large gambler and and that he was even
banned from baseball for his gambling. I think that was during the early
80's.I have no reason to doubt the story because it was from a very
reputable memorabillia dealer, but if you have any more info. about the
vintage or authenticity of the card,I would be very interested to find out
more.
Thanks a lot for your help,
Scott

This is all new News to me, and I have been going to the Taj since it opened.
Seems we are mixing stories regarding Pete Rose
and who knows how many other celebrities, not to mention slot cards and debit cards.
It is at least comforting to know that it was a VERY reputable memorabilia dealer rofl rofl rofl
