We have a Compaq Presario 5184 that we bought about two years ago. After about 13 months the hard drive took a nose dive and all of our data was lost. Tech support left so much to be desired that we gave up calling them. Now our machine is making an unusual electronic grinding noise, so it won't be long before it is ready for the dumpster. A real piece of crap!
