the Ocean Princess because P&O Princess Cruises the parent of Princess Cruise Lines announced in a February 2001 press release (see link) that the Ocean Princess would be taken out of service in the United States and transferred to the United Kingdom where it will be renamed the Oceana and be completely overhauled and redesigned to serve it's United Kingdom passengers with cruises in Europe.

I am assuming that this means that all of the Ocean Princess chips will be taken out of circulation and destroyed by Princess and then replaced with new Oceana chips which will either be in the form of British Sterling Pounds or into Euros.

Fortunately I was on the Ocean Princess earlier this year to Alaska and grabbed as many of the Ocean Princess designed chips as I could.
