The jetons are sold at the cage not the gift shop. I don't know if it makes a difference or not. I bought mine from the cage and they were sold as "gift chips" in the employees' words. I never bothered to ask if I could return them. They even give you a nice satin pouch with them. They were available in $25 and maybe $100 too if I remember right. I have not been to Montreal in a while.
