In short, I am beyond outraged. This is COMPLETE BULLSHIT! Jerry may have provided us with about 5-10% of our information, (all personal interviews) but certainly no more than that. He gave us some good info when it came to his rare chips, but he never gave us exact figures about the quantities he had. He wanted to keep that info secret. Further, neither James or myself had access to any "inventory sheets". In fact, this is the first I've even heard of them! The rarity ratings came from countless discussions and interviews with collectors all over the country over a period of almost 2 years (We have the phone bills to prove it, I can assure you.) - not to mention James' lifelong chip experience. He has probably been involved in more chip deals than the next 5 people combined. Read the Acknowledgement section of our book. That's where the rarities come from. The reason I take offense to your lie is that you are attempting to discredit all the hard work we did by making it seem like we plagerized someone else's list. Nothing could be further from the truth - a word whose definition is alien to you.
