Just talked to a man who answered my classified ad offering to buy chips. He would like my help in finding a buyer for a group of chips from Jennie V's Casino in Las Vegas and a deck of cards from Longhorn Joe's. The chips and cards were inside a poker table he bought a few years ago.
He has four $1 chips (N7644) eleven $5 chips (N1801) and one $25 chip (N7645). He says they are in very good condition, but I haven't seen them.
I told him if anyone expresses any interest in making an offer, I will photograph or scan them and make a picture available. I will also act as a middle-man if the buyer wishes.
He is aware of the values in the published guides, but I explained that there are only a few people who would pay the published prices, and they may not need them for their collection.
