Or, if you ever do get into the casino jetons made of metal, check out "Jetons Metalliques des Cercles et Casino Français et Coloniaux." It'll blow your mind while increasing your jeton knowledge.
So, now all we need to think about is that casino jetons are certainly metal, too, when we add on to our glossary of terms.
BTW, all the metal jetons (tokens ) seen in the book were made and used on the tables long before slots came on the scene. Interesting, wouldn't you say. The oldest known casino jetons from the French West Indies (Caribbean) date to 1825; Guadeloupe. I can go on for hours of course, but I'll spare you.
