Maybe not, but it is still not correct in our hobby, which uses the terms commonly used by casinos. Does any casino use the term "tokens" to describe its chips (or checks)?

That doesn't necessarily follow, Mark. There's no question that casino chips/checks/jetons/tokens (take your pick) are numismatic items. I just think when discussing casino items, casino terminology should be used.
