I think you would first start in our own hobby. Look in the book Nevada Casino Promotional tokes (An excellent book I might add) has pages and pages of chips and checks that should be removed because they are not tokens as you state the title implies. The use of token means any disk or coin like object that is used as an exchange for money. This is not just a numismatic term. if you do not want to use "numismatic" term then you do not consider "chips' a "numismatic" item. Then by the rules of the ANA and FUN you can not exhibit them!
