Is it against rules to ask someone to ask a celeb for an autograph?
When I was about 18 Ali came to my town to check on a business deal. I was working away when someone came into the shop and said that he was just leaving a restaurant nearby after lunch. Well, I grabbed a couple pieces of paper and pen and ran out of the store and down to this place. He was very gracious and signed my paper along with many others. It's hard to explain how star struck I was by him. I couldn't speak. On the way back to work at an intersection I saw his limo stopped at a red light with his window down. I walked into traffic and handed him another piece of paper and pen. While he was signing it I couldn't help myself and I just had to reach in through the window and touch his knee. He looked at me with a look that let me know not to do that anymore. I know it was weird but I couldn't help myself. I mean this was ALI!! I don't have the autographs anymore but the memory of that look is very fresh. It was worth it : )
