A fair question. And I am not 100% certain. I found a little cupful of chips at an Antique Store in Jennings, Louisiana--on the eastern side of Lake Charles. The cup had only Cord mold chips. Some said, "TOMMY'S" and the others said, "BORDER CAFE". Demary's BORDER CAFE is identified in the book 'Delta Night's' as an Illegal in Calcasieu Parish in West LA next to the Texas Border. When I learned about "Tommy's Dinner Club" on Hwy 90 in the midst of all the LA illegal clubs I assumed the Tommy's Chips had been identified. It is only circumstantial evidence but the circumstances neatly fit: Chips found in that exact locale, Chips not otherwise identified, a Dinner Club in the exact area of a lot of illegals with the name "Tommy's", and Cord mold which I understand is common to this part of the country. One final note--Gene says the Cord mold records have been found and once they are straightened out--we hopefully will know for sure. Doug
