>Most of the club members who are opposed don't often buy the kind of chip that would be graded and encapsulated anyway
By that I assume you are making that tired old argument that only expensive high end chips will be slabbed. That isn't the case with coins and that isn't the case with chips as is evidenced by Saharacoins website
He has
TCR N7109 (E value $15-$19) for the bargain price of $30 but it is graded EF45
TCR N1377 (F value $20-$24)
he has two of them
one graded VF30 for the bargain price of $35
and one graded VF35 for $40.
SO DO YOU STILL BELIEVE THAT SLABBING IS ONLY FOR HIGH END CHIPS?
Apparently each point gets you a $1 increase.
TCR N1326 (D value $10-$14) graded VF20 for only $30
In fact of the 9 chips currently posted on his website 7 of them are under $100 4 of them are $40 or less. (his selling prices ...TCR values are even less IN Fact only one of his slabbed chips on his site has a TCR value above $100)
BUT ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF HIS SELECTION IS
TCR N0894 K value ($60-74) (C/W lists it as $15-$45 but that may be a typo).
This chip is graded as MS63 and is available to you for the Bargain Basement Price of $155
And he has two of TCR N6020 J value ($50-59)
one is graded AU53 and sells for $85.
the other is AU55 and sells for $95.
