I don't make offers anymore Mark. I ask the seller how much he/she is asking for the item. If I like the price I buy it.... if I don't like the price I pass. It has nothing to do with ethics.

A seller offers a car for sale at $5,000, I'm under no obligation to tell him/her it's worth more (or less). Chips are no different.
