Went to orthopedic surgeon today. He evaluated results of CT scan done on Tuesday. No cast for foot, one bone will heal on its own. Ankle not broken, but really messed up and this is the major problem. I have to wear a special surgical shoe for two weeks, then I start physical theraphy on Christmas Eve. Theraphy 3 times a week for four weeks. Plane leaves for Vegas on January 23th. Prognosis - may be able to go to Vegas, but probably will have to use a cane. I guess I'll decide on Jan. 22nd if I'm going or not.
