Back in the early 80's all I cared about was the denomination on a chip & not what it looked like or size. So, I can't tell you if it was the oversized chip or not. I played a lot of Blackjack there & I don't remember ever seeing any $500 chips on the tables. As a matter of fact, I was in there one night & a guy at the poker table had chips covering a good portion of the end of the table & about 3 inches high. They were $1's, $5's, $25 & $100's. NO $500's........He did not win these in the poker game since it was a $4 & $8 Hold'em game. So, where ever he won them in the pit they did not color him up. This was about 1985.
