I agree. The staples are no where near the chips, so I think that using them is OK. I also hate when a chip has been exposed to scotch tape. It leaves residue and becomes a dirt magnet. Again the chip is safely inside the envelope, inside a folded piece of paper and inside a 2x2 plastic holder. Tape of any kind and staples should never come anywhere near a chip.
