Try to get your wife involved in the hobby too!! It's something my husband and I do together. If she's not interested in the chips, maybe there's something else...like postcards, matchbooks, swizzle sticks, dice, etc. that she'd have fun with! Almost every weekend we go to antique malls, flea markets, or someplace looking for "treasures". My husband usually does the bidding on e=bay, then I do the follow-up. The point is, shared interests and shared time with each other. It's a lot more fun that way!
