About 1973 I went to sleep over night on the parade route with my sister. We parked in some makeshift lot. Got our spot on the sidewalk and set up camp. It got cold and started to rain. We left and had a hard time getting our car out as the lot was full. Next day we went to the park and saw the floats on display. Barry
