As I have stated before, I feel it's best when the shipping costs are built into the selling price. This obviously would not apply to heavy items where the final destination is no known prior to sale

Unfortunately many sellers do not post ANY shipping costs. This should be MANDATORY. As a matter of fact it should be predominately displayed somwhere in the area of the opening bid price, NOT buried somewhere in a lengthy text.
If e-bay adopted this policy, many of the shipping charge abuses would be eliminated immediately.
