I'm guessing by reading the names of the old chip dogs here that someone might know how an auction works. The final price is irrelevant to Charles initial comments and assessment of his situation. Why are some of you using $75 as the basis for discounting chip condition in an auction? Would you change your tune if he had won the auction with a $175 bid? A $275 bid? Since no one was willing to outbid $75 you are ignorant of what Charles final offer might have been. To use $75 as the jumping off point for some of these unsympatheic comments is unfair. If you want to pick nits about chip condition and perceived damage and eBay auctions, go ahead, but when you base your comments on something outside of Charles' range of influence (bid competion), you show a lack of comprehension of the original post.
