I agree with Charlie here.
This is an auction -- the price is determined by the bidders, if a chip collector puts the item up for sale for a flat price which seems to good to be true than maybe that is an indication of the condition of the item, but an auction result is not, there are many reasons why an auction may not get the best price and many times its about the quality of the auction description not the quality of the item.
The Seller should always describe any visible damage (i'm still not sure whether this is or isn't visible damage).
