The original post that got this discussion going was one members opinion that if a Token (which in all oother respects was identical to a silver strike) could not be won from a silver strike machine it is not a silver strike.
If that is to be the accepted definition then would the following be a silver strike:
A Casino orders a new Silver Strike, and gets gaming approval. However before any of the Strikes are placed into the Machines the casino goes out of business. As a result you could never win the Strikes from a machine. However in the casino's last days collectors pursuade the casino to make the strikes available for sale at the cage.
Are these strikes which have been purchased at the cage Silver Strikes or souvenior tokens?
