Just another one of my wacky ideas... I think it would be fun to see a series of postings on this board that would feature a single chip that the poster deems important, rare or a milestone in gambling or chipping. The post could include a good scan of the chip, some background about its origin and historical sidenotes about the club where it originated. It would be a great way for all of us to get a closer look at chips we've never seen and for the person making the post to revisit some of their favorite chips in their collection.
I know this is a pretty selfish idea, since I'm too new to the hobby to really contribute much, but I think even the "old-timers" might enjoy it.
