Don't head west on I-15 from downtown, unless downtown is Mesquite!

I did that twice in April for the drag races. ...it's easy to hit the wrong highway onramp in downtown Vegas at 7:00 AM. ...at least for me it is!

One other piece of advice. Dress for cold weather. The inaugral NHRA event in Vegas, April 2000, temps were in the 80's during the day. This year, in April, the temps were in the 50's!
